Tentang Penulis

Hi Everyone!

I am “Rosi”, standing for Titik Rusmiati. I am  living in Central Java and around. Well, currently I love to call myself as an educator or a facilitator, especially in the area of community empowerment and leadership just because I over five years of experience working in both profit and non-profit organization which worked closely with children, youth, women and community empowerment issues. 

Additionally, starting from the last two years, I established and lead a social enterprise called Grow To Give (www.growtogiveid.org) that focuses on developing Indonesian young people to have the courage to dream and make creative actions that have an impact on society through self-development programs in the fields of creativity, leadership and entrepreneurship. 

Furthermore, my team and I did some projects including online classes with various topics, and a camp that we call it “Indonesian Youth Entrepreneurs and Voluntary (IYEV) Camp”. IYEV Camp is a yearly camp since 2018 containing entrepreneurship and leadership trainings conducted by Grow To Give (G2G) with some collaborative partners to gather university students across Indonesia and local youths from Kayupuring Village, Petungkriyono Pekalongan Central Java assisted by G2G to learn, discuss and inspire each other. As a result, it was more than 200 young people taking part in that program from Java, Sumatra, Yogyakarta, Kalimantan, NTB, and Bali. 

Talking about my leadership capacity, I have sharpened and broaden my leadership and organizational management skills by joining various trainings and fellowships in some countries. In 2016, I was chosen as one of Indonesian delegations with 80 young leaders from Southeast Asian countries for Go NGO Workshop conducted by YSEALI and Cultural Vista in Cebu, Philippines. The workshop was more about how to manage and lead an organization efficiently. In 2018, I became one from two Indonesian women young leaders for Women Deliver Young Leaders Classes 2018 by joining an online class for almost 8 months and also became Indonesian representative for Women Deliver conference 2019 in Vancouver, Canada. 

Moreover, in 2018, I went to the USA for YSEALI Professional Fellowship Program for 5 weeks. I was assigned as an intern in the Center for Peace and Commerce at the University of San Diego. One of the prestigious opportunities that I had was I was invited to participate in 21st Leadership Century workshop in the Georgetown University facilitated by Sam Potolicchio. 

Currently, I flew to Germany for Cross Culture Program funded by Ifa Organization for 12 weeks to experience working with German organization. I work as a Project Assistant (PA) at Adelphi Company for Seed program (https://seed.uno/). As a PA I am responsible for supporting my team running an existing project in Indonesia. 

Those all are what I have done so far. I would love to share and discuss about personal development, community empowerment and social entrepreneurship to everyone who has a positive thoughts and open minded, because I believe that a positive vibe will bring us to joy and more happiness.
